Mike brings his 30 years of experience as a business professional, consultant, mediator, and coach with broad and deep expertise in virtually every function of HR, Administration, and Executive Leadership to assist clients with their strategic challenges.
Mike’s coaching style is decidedly results-oriented. To be effective, such results, displayed in personal performance, must be directly related to the organization’s business objectives, cultural standards, and ethical imperatives. To do so, the coaching must be customized to the individual, organizational, and situational needs, and to the unique perspective of the client.
Mike is a lifelong HR practitioner, having headed HR at leading companies including salesforce.com, Farmers Insurance Group, Zurich Personal Insurance, Empire Blue Cross, and Blue Shield. While at Farmers, his department won first place in the large company category of the National HR Service Excellence Survey. Mike started his career at ITT Corporation, then the largest conglomerate in the world. At each of those organizations, as well as in his recent consulting and mediation engagements, Mike has employed results-oriented coaching to facilitate organizational development, collaboration, and attainment of objectives. Having lived and worked outside the U.S. on several occasions, he also has a true global perspective that is so essential today.
